Sharp Park Campground Policies

General Rules: 

• The Speed Limit in the park is 5 MPH and is strictly enforced. 

• Check-in time is 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm.

• Campsite Check-out time is 1:00 pm, Cabin check-out time is 12:00 p.m. 

• Quiet hours are 10:00 pm – 8:00 am. No check-ins after 10:00 pm.

• See SPC’s Pet Policy for rules regarding pets in the campground. No pets in cabins. 

• One camping unit per site. 

o Two adults and up to six children in the immediate family or four adults only (or at management discretion).

o  On RV sites, one small tent is allowed for dependent children only, two tents per tent campsite for tent sites.

• Garbage must be in bags, tied, and placed in dumpsters. 

• The pavilion is available for guest use. Contact the store to reserve for events – fees may apply. 

o No chalk, no nails, no grilling or smoking in the pavilion. 

• A short-term clothesline is permitted for swimming attire and towels only. Please remove upon departure. 

• No altering campsites – please do not cut down vegetation. Please do not move fire rings. 

Playground, Beach & Water Areas: available to use during daylight hours only:

• All children must be supervised in the swimming area and while using the playgrounds. 

o Rude/foul language by children will be brought to the parent’s attention. 

• SPC owns all docks. Specified dock fees may apply to long-term guests. Do not jump off docks. 

• No glass items on the beach; please clean up after yourself and your children.

• No lifeguard is on duty; swimming/water activities are at your own risk. No boating vessels are allowed in the swimming area.

• No fishing or cleaning of fish is allowed in the swimming area. Double bag fish remains. 

• No dogs are allowed in the swimming area unless it is a dedicated open dog swim day. See the SPC Pet Policy.

Recreational Vehicles & Parking

· Minibikes, dirt bikes, ATVs, and go-carts are only allowed when entering and exiting the park. 

· Golf carts are allowed. 

o Drivers must be at least 16 yrs old with a valid driver’s license and follow the same rules as automobiles.

o The owner of the golf cart must have insurance on it. 

· Only one vehicle should be parked directly on the campsite, second vehicle is permitted if space allows. 

o Overflow parking is available by camp store in upper level field. 

· Utility, boat, and boat trailers must park in designated overflow areas.

· DO NOT park on empty campsites.  

Visitors & Deliveries 

· Visitors MUST check in at the office to obtain a day pass and depart by 10:00pm. A visitor fee will apply to holiday weekends.

· Food deliveries are allowed to the office only, no delivery to campsites. No packages or mail deliveries allowed.

Prohibited 

• Moving fire rings, leaving fires unattended, burning trash, and cutting trees or branches — fires only in fire rings. 

• Fireworks of any nature, including sparklers. 

• Playing in and around the service building, sewer lagoons, dump station, or boat storage area. 

• Using firearms, pellet/bb guns, bow and arrows.

• Gas powered generators – unless approved by SPC management.

• Damage to any campground property will result in the required replacement cost payment. Fire-rings $60.00, picnic tables $300.00. 


Intimidating behavior towards staff or others intended to be annoying, vicious, or disturb the peace (such as foul language or loud music) on SPC property is grounds for immediate dismissal with forfeiture of any paid funds. Committing any unlawful act on SPC property or witnessing and/or having knowledge of any illegal activity on SPC property and failing to report it will be grounds for immediate dismissal. SPC shall not be liable to the camper nor guests of the camper for any injury or damage caused to any person or property on the reserved campsite or other premises owned by SPC. Having insurance on the camping unit and all personal property is the sole responsibility of the camper. SPC is a private campground and reserves the right to select clientele/visitors, SPC does not discriminate against race, ethnicity, religion, gender or political affiliation.

Sharp Park Campground Pet Policy

Sharp Park Campground, owned by VanRhee Ventures LLC, will be referred to as SPC now and 

collectively thereafter. 


• Non-aggressive pets are welcome and need to be registered at the office and limited to two per site. 

• Pets must always be kept on a maximum 6-foot leash, they must NOT be left unattended and MUST be under your immediate control. 

• Clean up after your pet, there are four waste bag stations in the park. 

• No excessive barking. 

• Must be up to date on vaccinations. 

• No pets allowed in any of the campground buildings, cabins or at the beach (unless it is a dedicated open dog swim). Deep Lake is nearby for pups to swim in. 

• Any aggressive behavior displayed by the pet (or owner) will be asked to leave the campground. 

• SPC is not responsible for and will hold accountable pet owner for any injury or damage caused by pet(s). The owner of the pet that causes injury or damage to others is expected to resolve the issue directly with the injured party. 

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Full refund 28 days or more, 75% refund of 15-27 days, 50% refund 8-14 days and no refund 7 days or less.
